Apply for the Optimal Account

To sign up for the Optimal Account, please complete the following online secure application form (it only takes 10 minutes). Please note that you are in fact signing up for our service and not simply enquiring further. This means that if you are accepted you will be liable for payment.

Once you have completed the online application, you will be initially contacted within 1 - 3 business days via email informing you if you have passed the initial stage or not.

Once we receive the relevant documentation from you, our Acceptance Team will then review it. You will receive approval of your application by email. It is at this point that a binding contract exists between us. For important information about this process please click here

What you will need before applying...

Before you sign up for the service, please make sure that you meet the following minimum requirements before applying. Please tick to confirm you meet the following criteria and have the relevant information ready

You must be authorised to act on behalf of the company

You must be at least 18 years old

You have a bank account already set-up

Your website is compliant (unless using virtual terminal only) [details]

Details provided will be accurate and true [details]

In addition you will need to supply the following:

A description and the details of your business

Your bank account details

NI Number - UK Residents Only (If outside UK - please put 8 zeros in its place)

The number of credit card transactions you expect to accept each month

The average value of your credit card transactions

Please Note: Due to security reasons we do not allow session ID's on this application form. This means that if you are not able to complete it and want to return at a later date, you would not be able too and would need to apply once again.

If you pass the initial stage you will receive an email with a list of supporting documents to return. Once all forms and supporting documents have been received, your application will be assessed, then you will be contacted with a decision. You will also be contacted if any questions regarding your application arise
