No Software needed

No software is needed to be installed when using eCommerce Builder so you won't need to reinstall it every time you either change computers or decide to use another computer else where!

Because eCommerce Builder is browser based and built entirely online, you can can use any machine, any time and anywhere to manage your online business

Unlike some other shopping cart developers we decided to create a browser based store as we soon realised that busy merchants may not always use the same computer and may not always be in the same place when the store needs to be updated

Imagine these two scenarios ...

... 1. Some more stock arrives that you need to place on your online store. You get to your computer where the software has been installed only to find that someone is using it or even worse, it's crashed and died. What do you do?

... 2. It's the dead of winter and you can't get to work because your house is covered in 20ft of snow. You really need to update the site but unfortunately the computer with the software on it is at work. What do you do?

Well you could install the software on every machine you have. So in case you can't get to your computer or you are stuck at home due to the worst weather in over 50 years you have a computer you can use. A couple of problems with this is that you may not have more than one computer plus depending on what shopping cart software you purchase may depend on how many times to can install it. Some software developers may make you register online which in turn may only allow you to install it once. This means it can only go on one computer (lets hope that Sally the secretary hasn't spilt coffee on the keyboard again!)

However with eCommerce Builder you can manage your online store from ANY machine at ANY time. Because no software is needed to be installed and it is all setup and created online you can update your store stuck in a snow drift, at work or even on holiday.

Once we have setup your online store (we use this as your actual store when you wish to go live, so you don't need to build it again) we will send you a unique user name and password and electronic user manual via email. This allows you access to your back office and enables you to start building your store straight away. We also provide FTP access if you want to bulk upload images, download the database or wish to change the templates
