We understand that our merchants vary with respect to their needs and requirements. Whether or not you have a Web site, our processing options give you the flexibility to select from one or all of our interfaces.

There are various ways to start processing credit and debit card payments.

1) Application Programming Interface (API)

Ideal for merchants processing large volumes of payments via a web site. Integrating our API will allow you to accept credit and debit card payments directly on your Web site. We supply comprehensive integration documentation in addition to live technical support.

The API allows you to securely submit several transaction types by way of your own e-commerce site.

  • Your customer can create a profile that includes personal information and billing details. The profile is securely stored, which is used for future e-commerce transactions and can be modified by the customer when required.
  • Your customer can transparently process purchases on your e-commerce site – the customer experiences your branded site only.
  • You can use existing customer profiles to process purchase transaction requests, e.g., for billing requests that occur regularly.

Below is an description of how it works. Please refer to the integration guide for a more detailed explenation.

  1. Your customer has selected all their items to purchase and enters the checkout on your ecommerce site.
  2. The customer clicks the payment button.
  3. This initiates an HTTP Post request. This request contains both the encoded profileCheckoutRequest XML document and a digital signature
  4. The customer – now in an inline frame on your e-commerce site – creates a payment instrument. (This is not required if a customer profile has been set.)
  5. The customer views the purchase details and then confirms the transaction.
  6. A payment request is then initiated with the payment gateway back end.
  7. Gateway sends an XML response back to you
  8. Gateway displays a confirmation page to the customer.

Due the nature of our business integrations methods can change. Therefore the information within these documents is subject to change without notice. Up-to-date manuals and integration guides are available once your account is active and ready for testing.

2) Checkout API for one-time payments

The Checkout API allows a customer to transparently process secure purchases on your e-commerce site. Please note that the account used for this integration is for eCommerce transactions only and does not support the virtual terminal or the repeat billing facility.

3) Secure Payment Page

This option is ideal for merchants who want to process secure credit card payments via the Internet, without requiring a secure Web site or programming expertise.

With the Secure Payment Page, you only have to add a single HTML link to your Web site. We have a programme that generates this link for you. The link then takes your customer to a secure payment page hosted on our servers, where your customer enters payment information to complete the purchase.

The Secure Payment Page option is available in two versions: Static and Dynamic.

i) With the Static version, you generate a link for each product/price combination in advance. When your customer clicks on the link to purchase the product, the Secure Payment Page is presented to the customer showing the price that you specified in advance. This version is simple to use, and is appropriate when your site does not include shopping cart features like multiple products, quantities, shipping fees, or taxes.

ii) The Dynamic version allows you to create a customised link on your web site for each order as it is placed by your customer, regardless of the number of different products purchased. This version is ideal if your site includes shopping cart functionality.
