The VPOS is a Windows-based software application that provides all the necessary features required for processing credit and debit card transactions quickly and easily in situations where cards are not present. VPOS is a straightforward, powerful and effective tool that helps companies boost sales. The VPOS has been built as a solution for the future. Based on a multi-tiered architecture, that future functionality or requirements can be implemented easily by our team of developers. While web services are intended to be used by companies who need to automate transactions with a deep level of integration through their own systems with high flexibility.

Please note that no website is needed to be integrated so can be used for MOTO (Mail Order, Telephone Orders) only. Please be advised that MOTO only merchant accounts may be subject to extra application procedures.

Also, even though a website is not needed to be integrated with the merchant account, a company website must be available to view. This can be live or a BETA site.

Basic Information needed to process a MOTO transaction

• Card Holder: Card holder as it appears on the credit card.
• Card Number: Credit/debit card number.
• CVV: Card Verification Value Code.
• Expiry Year and Month: Credit card expiry year and month.
• Card Type: This value is optional
• Issue Number: Certain card types like Switch or Solo have an issue number

Use the VPOS to process transactions for your accounts. You can implement the following transactions:

• Purchase - authorises and settles an amount on a card
• Authorisation – authorises an amount on a card
• Settlement – complete a sale that was previously authorised
• Cancel Settlement – void a settlement before it is completed
• Credit – refund a sale that was previously settled
• Cancel Credit – void a credit before it is completed

Transactions are protected by three security options – AVS (address verification system), a negative database check, and CVD (card verification data).

NB: Currently the VPOS can not run on Apple MAC applications. Therefore you will need to use Bootcamp or some other Virtual Machine to run the Windows application on your computer.
